It's funny how I've found that the older one gets, the more likely it is that the memory of a fictional moment - book, film, TV - will sometimes hijack you emotionally when you're out and about in a public place and leave you vulnerable. However, those moments are something to celebrate too... I made the mistake of reading it during a lengthy salon appointment and had to ask where the bathroom was so I could have a good cry. No fictional deaths have hit harder.
